Hybrid and Birmingham Lifeline Options (Tricia Yarwood) are hosting a series of lunchtime conversations that explore some of the issues facing refugees, asylum seekers and newly arrived communities. The conversations aim to consider how service providers can collaborate at a time when the value of all outputs are being questioned.
There are five conversations on the following themes:
- Language
- Joblessness
- Intergenerational impact / issues
- Well being (mental health)
- Opportunities for engagement / positive activities
You are welcome to attend any that are of interest to you. The dates, and more details are on the attached letter.
All of the conversations take place over lunch, which will be provided. Please let us know of any particular dietary needs that you have.
There are just 7 places for each conversation, as we would like these to be action focused sessions.
All of the conversations will take place at Hybrid’s offices.
