The Museums, Libraries and Archives (MLA) West Midlands has commissioned mapping research on Sustainable Communities as part of the ‘Living Places’ agenda.  The ‘Living Places’ agenda has three objectives:

1.      To provide those people who are shaping communities with information, advice and support on the use of culture and sport to create better places

2.      To align investment from the sporting and cultural sector with sustainable communities funding across organisational boundaries so it works harder for people

3.      To empower communities to make cultural and sporting activity and infrastructure a part of their lives

To support its work MLA West Midlands is mapping work that engages with the sustainable communities’ agenda, specifically activities within the museums, libraries and archive sector.  This research will be used to influence future regional and sub-regional policy and delivery, particularly objective one of ‘Living Places’

Hybrid has now completed this piece of research and the final report was accepted by MLA West Midlands
